Hi All,

I have a quantity of RARE NOS Intel D80C187-16 Processors arriving at AVICC soon.

I am able to offer these at US$30 each which is a real bargain basement price, considering I bought a couple of these in a group buy back in March 2017 at $49.00 each, so get your orders in quick to make sure you get one or two.

I will ask John to send me a scan of one when they arrive and I will post it here.

Payment via PayPal Friends option or add the PayPal costs.

Invoices will be send by PM to those who have ordered them when they arrive at AVICC

These have arrived at AVICC and because of the copyrights being back to front for the years I asked John to open a couple up and look at the dies.

There were 2 different types of of markings on them as pictured below.

One lot turned out to be 8086 dies and the others were 8088 dies so obviously these had been remarked most likely by chinese fakers.

I will be asking for a full refund on these.

That's bad news. Nice pictures though. Did you make them with the microscope you bought last year?

This is interesting. Surely the only reason to fake these would be to dupe collectors. Do you think this sort of thing is going to become more common as chip collecting gets more popular?

In the early 2000s these were no longer produced, out of stock but still in use in many devices. So there was a good industry demand. Refurbisher could ask a lot of money for them. That might be a fake reason too.

What's with the (m), m in the circle next to the copyright symbol? Is that supposed to be a trademark symbol? To the best of my knowledge they never used (m).
