I have an S40344 chip and I think these chips should either have 16 BIT S/W ONLY or double-sigma marking based on whether they are infected with 32-bit multiplication bug or not.
Have never seen these before. Do these chips have the bug? _________________ Wishlist 2019. PM me for a deal.

| Probably from before they remarked/tested them. According to Wikipedia Intel tested their inventory and marked them with the double sigma or 16 BIT S/W ONLY. I think this one shipped before they tested them. |

Perhaps that's right. It's week 48 1986 - only 2-3 weeks later than the white prints just sold by John. So I reckon these chips have the MULT bug too.
My double-sigma S40344 is week 29 1988, far later. _________________ Wishlist 2019. PM me for a deal.

| But to be sure if yours has the bug you need to test it |
