I received my Black Cyrix 486DX2-80 QFP today.
Very good fake, very good paint. But there is black paint on the top of pins, which is one more clue to find this fake.
I've tried alcohol 90° on it, and paint began to go away.
And it is an IBM 486DX2-66. I'm happy, because I haven't ever seen auctions for this cpus (only IBM 486DX4-100 QFP)
But I think it is harder to remove every paint with alcohol than with nail paint remover... _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !

I tried again with ` GOOF OFF ` and the paint came off.
I needed the IBM chip anyway.
