I tried to list all manufacturer producing CPUs.
Including only CPUs for PC or risc machines.
Now I found 103 companies, even if I'm not sure on some of them (philips, cypress, iit, scl..)

Wow... Just collecting Intel is already vast for me...
I would never have the courage to collect other manufacturers... (or maybe AMD at most)

Would be very interesting to turn this post in "unique CPU"

A lot of manufacturers were clone or just a name on Intel CPU.

This could help :
- Understand better the history
- Why most of them died.
- Collect things unique Smile

Thanks you all.
I listed the new names, and watched the very big list in the thread by Neon_WA.
Perhaps many of these companies never made CPUs, but only support chips and MCUs, but they show how many people worked on electronics.
I'm trying to summarize a history of several manufacturers, trying to detect the CPUs they made or those they cloned.
Time is very few, so I made only 28pages, but I'm working (soon I'll translate them in english).
The main difficulty is that the great part of companies died before the growth of internet, so information are not so easy to find.
