Ok, I got the whole official scoop on the Cyrix CPU's.
I'm only tring to help on an old thread in here somewhere...
The table is a little long ,so bare with me...
CPU TYPE/ P-Rating/ Actual CPU Speed
6X86/ PR90/ 80
6X86/ PR120/ 100
6X86/ PR133/ 110
6X86/ PR150/ 120
6X86/ PR166/ 133
6X86/ PR200/ 150
6X86MX/ PR133/ 100,110
6X86MX/ PR150/ 120,125
6X86MX/ PR166/ 133,137.5,AND (150 3 TYPES)
6X86MX/ PR200/ 150,165,166 AND 180
6X86MX/ PR233/ 166,187.5,AND 200
6X86MX/ PR266/ 207.5,225,AND 233
MII/ PR300/ 225,233
MII/ PR333/ 250
MII/ PR366/ 250
MII/ PR400/ 285
CYRIX/ PR433/ 300,350
CYRIX/ PR466/ 366
CYRIX/ PR500/ 400
CYRIX/ PR533/ 433
CYRIX/ PR533/450
Don't get confused, these are all actual desktop CPU's, not fakes !
Note that a given P-rating can mean several different actual speeds. For exemple, a Cyrix 6x86MX-pr200 might actually be running at 150mhz,165mhz,166mhz, or 180mhz, but not at 200mhz.
This P-rating was supposed to indicate speed in relation to Intel Pentium Processor, but the processor being compared to in thiscase is original non-mmx, small L1 cache version running onan older motherboard platform with older chipset and slower technology memory. The P-rating did not compare well against the Celeron,PII or PIII.In other words, the MII-pr366 really ran at only 250mhz and compared well against Intel CPU's running closer to that speed, making the rating somewhat misleading .

It is not full complete, and I think there are some mistakes.
Exemples :
- Some Cpus are not PR rated : I have a 6x86-100 which was called PR120 after. The same with PR90. Before it was 6x86-80.
- Missing MII-350
- There are MII from 200 to 433
I have to check your different speed. I think there are less for some models.
And do you speek of IBM chips too ?
And last what about 6x86L ? _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !

Hi, no, the ones up in the area I posted was only for those ones I mentioned from an older topic. I'm sure whomever it was would remember this...
...except for one, you draw my attention to your quote: MII 200-433.All the chips I got are indeed the Cyrix/IBM/VIA 6X86 CPU's...I got my listing by an engineer(not off this site). It was suppose to be a complet list !
Hummm......weird.....

Should have everything |
How can this be possible?
(I copied info off your site and brought it here):
------->PR100 40(FSB) 80(CPU core) 2x(multiP.) ???
It's exactly the same as the PR90 ...what would be the point in making one?The clock would of been the same!
Until I see some evidence on that one, I won't believe it(fake!!!)
(sorry John, don't mean to contradict ..hehe!)

Its not mine, its just in the library. Check with Simmayor, its his. Perhaps he can test it? _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

I've got two different IBM100, one is marked PR120 the other isn't. Both were properly tested a couple of years ago and will be tested again soon to get info to put on my site. Previous test results indicate that they are what they appear to be, and when i test them again soon I'll have CPUId and Cyrix DIR results on my site for them. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
