Hey everyone, I've seen my fair share of core 2 chips, but I've never seen any of these, despite cpu-world and other sites documenting them.
Do these exist? Anyone here have one to show that they are real?

I believe the E8190 was used in some iMac machines. It also has an Ark page on Intel's site. _________________ My collection |

iMacs used E8x35 mobile series.
It's quite strange too, e.g. there are three different E8135 cpus!
There is also E8290 which must be pretty uncommon. |

I have pulled quite few Core 2 Duo:
Core 2 Duo E6600 SL9ZL
Core 2 Duo E8400 SLB9J
Core 2 Duo T7100 SLA4A
More to post when I have a chance |

How much are they going for? Wouldn't mind adding one to my collection. _________________ My WTB List

All the E-series core 2 mobile chips are just rebrands of the Txxxx series that drop dynamic frequency scaling and have a higher rated TDP (45W for the E8435 for example vs the T9900's 35W which it's based on). I'm thinking the reasoning for this is the higher standard Vcore. Doubt Intel much cared about that as they were going in desktop form factor devices with significantly improved cooling restraints. Strangely on my E8435 there are no speed markings either.
It makes a rather good replacement to the outrageously expensive T9900. |

There is also supposedly a Core 2 Extreme X6900 apparently.
Supposedly the Q7xxx chips were china-only? _________________ My collection |

It's very likely that they were, considering that nearly every market that had them, were almost or always found somewhere in China. Almost as in, mostly Hong Kong or Taiwan I believe.
More quads:
Core 2 Quad Q9100 - SLAEN
Core 2 Quad Q9500S - SLGZ5
EDIT: SLGZ5 has been added to the database.

At least the one in the photo is obviously not genuine.
- Q9100 should have 6 MB L2 cache, not 12 MB.
- copyright 05 instead of 06.
- wrong font, easy to see the difference especially for "3" and "E". (Compare to any real ones, e.g. this, this, this.)
- too early date code for 54 nm quad.
- Intel didn't reuse sspecs from the same generation, and SLAEN was used for Clovertown Xeon.
