This should be the one referred to as "P5 OLD". The date was probably taken from the backside found in a forum thread at the time it surfaced. I think the chip was passed via AVICC since the image is from cpushack.net.

Great work with the timeline! _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

Ah yep. So there is nothing written on bottom. Wonder where that date come from. |
The date comes from a written note on the chip itself. "12/04/1991" _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

My Q0336 is I305502Q ES >> 1993, Week 5.
I have also seen another collector's chip > Q0336 > I303503Q ES, so 1993, week 3 so this is the earliest one known.
May want to update the timeline. |

Not worked on this for a long time (since before 2015 according to the log), but when you take your time and post, i will update!
Snap a quick pic if you could just so we could rule out any fakes.
Edit: Added JohnA:s Q0336 _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database.

I'm away from home for a few weeks, but I'll see what I can do (friday at the earliest, probably won't be for awhile) |

And on another note and crazy coincidence. This thread turns 10 years old exactly TODAY! _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

Not actively. Submissions from visitors are added but they are not that many. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |
