570 must use 6x multiplier so why 600 can't exist ? Maybe only we haven't yet Smile

These lists become a bit subjective and from each collectors point of view and whats collectable...

In my listing for example, K6-166 i have these. Some are not in some lists. "We dont list different prints" some may say. But there are big logos and Black prints in other collections...

This is interesting... Comments... Which chips should be in the "original" list?

I start to vary different prints, when my collection reaches as far as I can without it.

At the moment - after seeing Debs's list , I have a long way to go!

Exactly what im trying to say! Laughing From a technical point of view, yes they are the same. From a collectors point of view, might be three different.

Mmh, difference between them, except for "CORE/3.3 I/O" marking on the first one and not on the others, are very hardly noticable.

If you collect these potential differences, you will have to collect many thousands of cpus !!!

True! In the end, is that good or bad? In Sweden there is a saying that "Its not the destination (or goal) that matters, but the travel there..."

It depends of you. For me, as I don't make all these distinctions, it is bad for two main reasons :
- it is impossible be near the goal...
- you will be tempted to go where it is easyest. Exemple : you will have tons of K6 -> ALR, ANZ, XYZ or so on, because globaly K6 are easy to find and cheap, but you will far less 8086 or rarest cpu like that. Because you can't be on all front on the same time...

In France we say : Il ne faut pas avoir les yeux plus gros que le ventre which means : "You musn't have eyes bigger than belly" Laughing

It is 2 different views of cpu collecting Very Happy
