I have seen the following chips go for over $1,000
C4004 grey
C4003 grey
C8080
C8080B
MC8080A
I have seen these chips get close:
C8080A purple (around $700)
C4040 purple (around $800) I bid $1500
8008 (around $700)
8008-1 (around $700)
1701 grey (around $800)
The most I have paid for any one chip right now is around $1,100 and that was for a grey C4003.
There are many chips that could possibly go for over $1,000. A good start would be these:
C4004 grey
C4040 purple
X8080. C8080B, C8080C, C8080, MC8080
C4003 grey
C4002-2 grey
8008, G8008, X8008
MC1701
I don't know if wafers count but I would pay $1,000 for a 4004 wafer.
