I ended up buying the lot! These are neat little ceramic chips with some sort of purpose... not sure what lol. Pins are in decent shape (no significant bends)

As with all my sales, free shipping to AVICC, direct shipping at cost.
I try to ship a box out to AVICC every weekend.

Payment is accepted via PayPal (Please add 5% if friend option is unavailable) or AVICC chippay.

The pink x'd chips are not available.

$2 each.

It's funny that you're selling these today, because I just de-lidded one of them the other day. I got mine off of an old HP 54111D oscilloscope board.

Here's some pictures of it de-lidded with the number on the die that reads '1SE6B'. Sadly I have no idea what their use was for either...

(Click on the pictures to see the high res versions)

That 1SE6 is completely different chip in similar package. Origin of these 1SC6 is actually at http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29009 together with my die shot of the larger nice die inside. Thus, 1SC6 seems to be custom interface ASIC for sharing patient information in serial distribution network. This system uses 12-bit words, so that's why there's special 12-bit structures on the die, check page 117 of http://www.frankshospitalworkshop.com/equipment/documents/ecg/service_manuals/HP%20783xx,%20788xx%20Patient%20Monitor%20-%20Service%20manual%201.pdf

Thanks for letting me know and for the information Birdman, sorry if I was in-correct about it being the same one as was for sale...

Do you know anything about the one that I have or have any better die shots of it?

I haven't found better die shot of 1SE6 and haven't got that chip either to take die shot. I just remember I also found them in oscilloscopes when trying to find where 1SC6 is used. However, I don't remember function of 1SE6 because it was wrong chip for me then, and don't have time for research now. Anyway, nice to see inside 1SE6 also and I hope to get better pic of that die some day although it may be too small for the setup I use.

Unfortunately I don't have my good cameras and macro lenses etc. here where I've been living for a while, that's all back in storage where I used to live. But once I have my good cameras and lenses again then I can take much better pictures of dies etc...
