Finally got an Early S40344 Engraved Black Text No Sigma !
Now, I have all the 4 main S40344 variants, another Early 16 MHz Sspec S40337, and 12 MHz S40277 and S40343!
Now, I badly want the remaining Sspecs S40276, S40334 and S40336, Nos or Chipped!
If you have S40276, S40334 or S40336, I can buy it for good money, or trade with the S40343 (because I will get another one soon).
Is FDIV still around? He has the only one known S40334, but last post 2011... I can dream about him selling this...
Would be interesting to test all these bugs one day Lol: https://www.pcjs.org/pubs/pc/reference/intel/80386/
Maybe it could be a feature of the Uca :p ? _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |

Looks like they switch to ink press to laser etch sometimes in 1986 |

Maybe 8646 is latest white print and 8647 first engraved.
I saw this 8646 white print
Now I don't know if an overlap exists
I have also seen once a white print with engraved sigma but don't remember what date it had
Also notice that my 8647 No Sigma has slightly smaller font than the ΣΣ or 16-bits S/w only, newer font may have appeared in 8649 or 8650.
That said I am not distinguishing such differences for my collection and will not try to get a No Sigma with the new font _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |

Got my second A80386-12 S40343. Probably nobody else ever owned 3 12 MHz 386s :p
Interestingly, they all have different bottom markings, and both S40343 have a very weak -12 marking
The I6332014 is now for trade - Trade done _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |
