OK, I'll go first.

I once bought 1100 ES at once to find later that the lot only had 3 differents QSPEC... icon_censored

If you want hundreds of QLUR, I'm your man! icon_dance

Bought a lot on eBay a few years ago, unfortunately it contained a lot of pentium 133 mhz.

I don't have a QLUR, perhaps you can do a little sale with the ones you have to many?

Once upon a time I bought a pretty rare piece of computer audio hardware as it was way more than an ordinary sound card: Turtle Beach 56K. It was mailed from Canada across the Atlantics. Lost without a trace... Sad

the biggest (as volume and dissapointment not value) failure was few month ago when i bought around 15 CRT vintage monitors (1980-1990) and some old computers just to find out at home they were all terminals (IBM , Ampex, and other brands) ... and the lot also included some IBM model M keyboards all with a big cut on one side and few cm missing Sad .. they are almost all in working condition, but pretty useless...

My greatest failure was 11 years ago, and can be found somewhere in this forum.
More than 200€ of not so common chips (especially now) lost by DHL or never really sent, I don't know, it has never been really clear to me, even after deep investigations with DHL...

I didn’t pay enough attention to security. And >500 of CPUs from my collection were stolen. I didn’t recover yet. And now, when I have 3 kids (my second daughter was born on Saturday), I have very different priorities of how I need to spend money and time.
