I really like these timelines.

Timeline (Courtesy of cvandijk): https://content.cvdsoftware.nl/pentiumtimeline/Core%202%20Timeline.html

Raw Database (Maintained by crazybubba64): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cymgX1gfhzrigY3-QiWN2gJ40RCiNz1tPSH_lUPkog4/edit?usp=sharing

As of the time of posting, it only contains the desktop Core 2 chips.

I do not have a fancy graphical representation of the data (yet), but that's on a to-do list.

If you have a chip that is newer/older than the ones I have listed in the timeline, please post here and I'll update the list. (Include a picture if possible)

I have a QUPW Es 2006/32.
Currently under a heatsink and thermal paste so a bit tricky to take pictures Lol... (Ok, I am just too lazy for that :p)

Edit: Lol did not see that there were tabs below... But well, still oldest Core 2 Quad from the list, tied...

So, if you follow the format in the Pentium CPU timeline sheet, it may be that the software, cvandijk made for representing it graphically, could easily work on these data as well?

Possibly. I have it formatted in a similar way, but I can make it pretty close to the original layout.

QJRM are A1 Conroe 1.87 GHz and pretty nice. I have a lot of them but the one I listed in my spreadsheet is also from WW52'05.

My oldest Conroe is from WW50'05 (QJNG). The only older Core 2 you may find is the A0-Step Conroe QHEE (WW35-WW38). Extremely rare.

I have made some pretty significant additions to the timeline now. Xsecret helped me fill in a whole bunch of the ES chips that were missing.

I have successfully adapted cvandijk's timeline to work with my database!

I don't have anywhere to host it, so if anyone is feeling generous, I can send you the scripts for the page.

Can put it on x86-guide.com as well. It would make sense in this section http://www.x86-guide.com/en/cpu/Intel-Pentium/P5-4.html which is really poor at this time...
I'm currently playing with google charts for collections statistics and I've seen there is a timeline one that would make the job quite well I believe (https://developers.google.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/timeline)

edit : cvandijk is using Google charts so that fits !

cvandijk has it hosted on this page now: https://content.cvdsoftware.nl/pentiumtimeline/Core%202%20Timeline.html

Very Happy

@mixeur I'm not so happy with the timeline from Google, it has a few limitations like the width of some.items and the position of the tooltips. Perhaps it's possible to change it with a bit of css. Also the rendering feels a bit slow.

Added some mechanical samples to the timeline. If any of you know of some more that I'm missing (or have ones with earlier/later dates), please let me know.
