You know, the only thing left to say that hasn't been said here is, either your Chip is screwed, or, most probably your motherboard !
Check one thing for me, are there any blowted capasitors on your motherboard? incase you don't know what they are ,here's a pic.
check to see if they are abnormal...

lmao, thats funny, I hadn't noticed JAC's post prior to my own.
Would you be able to check that you haven't *accidentally* overclocked the Athlon?
Also, is your system stable? Is the temperature at 71 degree's on boot up, or several hours of use.
And also is the computer properly ventilated. _________________ 4000+ chips.

When you put your finger on the heatsink does it burn or feels like just a little hot, 81°C should be quite noticeable at tact.
If you have a termometer try it on the HS. |
