|
|
I wanted to revive the "world record CPU" threads we had going on for a while with a modern-ish socket, LGA2011 (includes LGA2011-3).
At the bottom of your LGA2011 CPU (Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Broadwell), there's a serial number.
For an example: L410C306
The "410" after "L" translates to the year 2014 (4) and 10th week of that year (10).
For Everests ONLY:
On 35044521B0224, 0 = 2010 and 44 = 44th week of 2010.
Judging by your FPO, we will determine who owns the oldest certain LGA2011 CPU.
Provide a picture of your CPU with a FPO (or serial on PCB for Everests), and you will be ranked! Each category will have a top 10 ranking, starting with the earliest of each category.
So here is our list:
Oldest Sandy Bridge i7:
-crazybubba64 - QBE7, week 33 2011
-crazybubba64 - SR0KY (non-ES), week 6 2012

Alright, updated. Each section will contain a top 5.
Section "E5 v1 (Sandy)" is filled with 5 already. Who can make it to the top? _________________ My CPU List (Trades and For Sale) |

Where is that located? _________________ My WTB List

Sure I guess, but I'll have to mark it as such.
Where would I find the date code on my Everest if there's no date on the IHS?
I gotta redo rankings then if we're counting on the IHS serial for everything but Everests. _________________ My CPU List (Trades and For Sale) |
