| I know I'm pretty unknowledgeable about chips and If I ever forget all I need to do is go to the scrap yard and find all kinds of things I don't recognize. Does anyone know what these two chips are? Also, I ran across a bunch of anchient GE (general electric) PCB's. These things were single layer and appeared to have circuits on them that were hand drawn (perhaps that way things were once done with acids etching away the excess material.) I did not find any recognizable processors on the boards and I expect they predate the microprocessor (no dates). Their were what appeared to be memory chips on many. If any of you have any intrest in accuiring one of these things let me know. They won't be cheap though because the scrap yard deals based on how much gold components have and these old memory chips had lots. |

The early production circuits I have seen made were made with transfers onto a semi-transparent/transparent film, then exposed and the board processed as its still done now. Some of them are truely works of art.
I would be interested in the boards if they look good, try get as much information about the source/use of a board when you get it. |
