That second one is indeed very strange, no s spec. Culd it perhaps be an overdrive chip with the heatsink removed? _________________ 4000+ chips.

Unlikely. I don't think Intel would put a Gold Heatspreader on the chip then cover it up with a regular heatsink. PCPU is a regular boxed Pentium CPU, so it could have had a removeable heatsink/fan included in the package, but they weren't glued to the chip in the factory (AFAIK)

They do, I have seen an ES that I think Paul has which has a glod heatspreader, and a Heatsink. _________________ 4000+ chips.
