|
|
These are some of the smallest Intel CPU's I have seen, and they are a complete SOC
These are the Intel Curie Module SR2T8 running a SR2KY Quark SE Processor
They are in an 8mmx11mm 111 pin package Very small. These were made in 2016
The Quark SE is a 32MHz Pentium x86 compatible processor with 8K of L1 Instruction cache (2-Way associative). There is no FPU and no data cache. It also integrates 384K of Flash and 80K of SRAM. Beong a 32-bit design it can address up to 4GB of memory
It has a sensor system that is based on a ARC RISC (ARC-EM4) that itself has 8K of I-Cache and 8k of Data memory (and coincidently FPU support)
Also included on this tiny package is a Nordic nRF51822 Bluetooth controller, which runs a 16MHz ARM Cortex-M0 processor (with its own 256K of Flash and 16K of RAM).
A Pattern Matching Engine, 6-axis accelerator and Gyro is included as well
Datasheet is here:
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/curie/Intel_Curie_Module_Datasheet_V1.21.pdf
These are New Old Stock
$10 each or a pair for $18 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Another failed attempt from intel to get the nose in development boards like arduino. This little one was in market just one year. |
