I just got two Very Early Athlons 64, but can't boot both in my Foxconn 6100K8MB-RSH motherboard. Nothing happens, just the fan running, no beeps...

Would the motherboard be too recent (2006)? Or there is no reason that such Early processors would not run in any Socket 754 motherboard and I can assume that both CPUs are dead?
I can boot a 0343 3200+ without issue.

Does anyone here own Athlons 64 B0 with 2002 Datecode and were you able to ever boot them?

I have two of these - one boots and one does not boot, without any changes to the motherboard setup. Gennadiy also has at least one that boots.

Just got an MSI K8T Neo MS-6702 and they booted fine Very Happy ! Even after flashing with the last bios from 2005.
I guess that my other motherboard was just too modern or had an incompatible chipset...
