I'll take two larger Power7 server chips if opened one doesn't have any damage in edges or corners of die or cracks visible in reflection of die. Likely better to tape heatspreader back on for shipping to protect the die. I could also take the whole set of four chips for $3 total, because I hope those smaller chips are cheaper than large ones. Did two smaller ones have heatspreaders with part number like chips in my single CPU Power7 blade server? Would be nice to compare part numbers to find similar chips.
Intel 3100 Chipset would have been very important for my chipset die shot project also, so I hope another one appears. |

$3 for the 4 chips is fine. Dies are in good shape, but the heat spreaders were more stuck to their heatsinks than the dies. I've managed to pry the other two off their heatsinks, so they are yours too. They're not in the best shape though, but are legible and will protect the dies in transit.
3100s in future is a possibility. I got this one out of a broken item in a lot. If I can't sell the others working within the next few months then I'll be scrapping them and I can keep aside a 3100 for you. |
