I always thought Nec V series started with V20 ( intel 8088 compatible CPU)
but on a Japan site series starts with V10 D70008C (Zilog Z80 compatible CPU)
someone has other information? I not find something about this |

I know Japanese a bit, that's what is in the Japanese wiki page:
NEC planned to use v10 name for their cmos z80 (D70008) but they decided to not use it in the end and excluded D70008 from the v series due to some legal ussues (ref.1). |
