Nice setup. I also made a demo on using viewfinders CRT tubes, but with arduino generating a 3d rotating cube:

Very cool Very Happy ! So they already had Retina screens in 1985 Lol (assuming resolution 720x400 -> 823.65 Ppi, which is actually pretty impressive even for today!)

It's better than retina, b&w crt screens theoretically have infinite horisontal resolution!
Yes, in practice it's limited by the quality of the phosphor layer, but still 1000+ ppi is easily possible.
