So here's proof that intel was making the legendary BX chipset and coppermine celeron as late as the year 2008! Note the "new" post 2006 logo on the BX and 82371 south bridge, as well as the 817 date code on the blindingly fast 566MHz celeron. Coppermine came out in 2000, so 817 is 17th week of 2008.
Well I would upload the pic but of course I just have my phone right now so kinda hard to resize.. |

I found a SL5L5 with a week 20 of 2008 code a few months back. They were used in some HP tape drive controller systems. _________________ My collection |

Here's one from the 40th week of 2006 with an alternate font. _________________ My collection |

| Mine looks like the first one you posted, same font and all. Mine is on the board for an HP SAN controller so that's a commonality. |

Are such late Cpus overclocking much better than ones with "normal" datecodes? _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |

Well i finally managed to resize the pic for the forum. Theoretically i would think a late datecoded chip might overclock better than an earlier one.. |
