I happened upon a batch of Atmel Wafers of some of their microcontrollers
These are all 6" wafers made in their Colorado Springs, CO 0.25u CMOS Fab 5 (now owned by Microchip)
Most are AVR RISC based, which is an 8-bit RISC processor architecture Atmel bought from Nordic VLSI (in Norway) back in the 1990's to replace the Intel MCS-51
SOLD OUT x Wafer A XMEGA32A4 35957 AVR RISC
5 x Wafer B AT35972 XMEGA1xx AVR RISC
8x Wafer C AT37A01 AT89S52 MCS-51 Nice Intel Copyright
18x Wafer D AVR AT354T4 NANTES (I think this is a custom AVR based ASIC, designed at Atmel's ASIC design center in Nantes France)
$19 each
Set of all 4 $70
Set of 3 (once Wafer A runs out) $50 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

I would take one Wafer C please. If there is such a thing as dedicated storage for wafers, I would take one of those as well. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
