IIT was mostly known for their 387/487 Math-coprocessors, but they made a large array of Video processors that outlasted the FPUs by far
These are some of the later IIT Video Codec/Multimedia processors.
They have an onboard 32-bit IIT RISC processor running at 80MHz with 32x32 SRAM Cache and 64x32 ROM as well as a separate Video Processor (which included multiple ALUs and a MAC, working as a Pixel processor)
The RISC processor is based on the MIPS core follow on known as the MIPS-X
The IIT VCP core design was used extensively by ESS in DVD players and branded as VideoDrive
These are New Old Stock
15x IIT IIT3103AKAB VCP MIPS-X RISC $4 each or a pair for $6 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
