The AMD AM29203 was an enhanced AMD 2903. Like the 2903 it supported hardware multiply and divide, but also added better I/O. support for BCD arithmetic, better byte handling, and a new decrement instruction. It was the last of the 2901 type development and had the most features.
They continued to be made on a bipolar process and ran at a 16.6MHz max clock
