thinking about buying a used server as a home pc. Prolly run Win and maybe Linux.
Spec:
2 INTEL XEON 1.8GHz
2Gb RAM, 3x 34.2Gb hds
2 PSU'S, 2x GIGABIT NETWORK CARDS etc.
How would this compare to a new p4 etc? Any comments. Price about
£120 ($200)

Price is right for Ebay... but VERY cheap for retail.
Sounds like a fun project, go for it.
