And that's what has me confused. I'm quite used to scams where the stock doesn't exist and someone takes the money and runs. But these chips seem to be items he actually has, and which will have limited value as scrap and would otherwise be hard to resell - something he doesn't appear to have done yet given the fact that he could still ship yours. So what is his endgame in sitting on these chips for a year? Cvandijk, I'm assuming he just fed you the "too busy" line? |

I bought well over $1,500 of stuff from Adam, most of it through private sales conducted via email between myself and him at his Zixtel business email address.
He outright lied to me many times, making up excuses for why he hadn't shipped my things to me. He even gave me a fake tracking number once and then said that the package had gotten lost when it didn't show up. I only learned it was a fake tracking number after speaking with the people at the shipping company that Zixtel and Adam uses.
After hounding him through email for many months, he finally sent me everything that he owed me, but he did switch out some items for things that weren't in the condition that he had told me they were and some of the things had damage on them that he had never told me about or shown me pictures of. But he did throw in some nice extra things for free and told me not to pay him the final $256 that I owed him, so in the end I considered it an even deal.
I don't think that he is really a scam artist and he does actually have, or at least had, all of the things that he sold on here at the time that he sold them. I think that he is just an emotionally mixed up person and he and his wife had a baby last year and I think that totally messed them up emotionally and perhaps financially as well.
Of course that doesn't explain why he still hasn't shipped the things that people here bought and paid him for. I don't think he has been selling any of it on ebay or any other place that collectors like us frequent, so maybe he still has all of the stuff and will re-appear one day and fulfill his obligations.
I know that he got all of the stuff that he sold here from Zixtel's warehouses. They are a very large electronics / computer re-selling company with a large ewaste / scrap metals operation and most likely Adam just took most of the things that he sold here, without authorization from Zixtel. Most likely they didn't care that he took stuff because they deal in such large volumes, many tons a week, so if Adam took a few pounds of stuff here or there I doubt that they cared.
If I was still owed stuff that I had paid him for long ago, I would inundate his company with phone calls and emails and become a nuisance to them, which in turn would most likely create a problem for him at work and then maybe make him finally send people the stuff that they are owed.
This is the phone number for where he works, it's in Wetherby England: 0113 8805 430
And this is his own email address at work:
adam@zixtel.com

I think he was well meaning at the start but disorganised.
I did have one batch of chips I purchased in the beginning that were shipped, just sent a bit late.
Unfortunatly, by now selling items (Money sent to Gyopar T... $375.50 USD), not supplying and then the non-communication could be looked apon as moving into the area of criminal fraud behaviour.
I have sent PM's here which are useless.
I have sent messages to his wife via their ebay account since she recieved the cash. -- NO reply.
I may need to try other communication channels.. as suggested.
It would be appreciated if Adam took the inititive with this and just replied to my PM and shipped the chips owed to me...

Yes, like pixelmanca said, he was busy with his baby and other stuff.
One time he said he has shipped the items, but he never provided a tracking number. After a few weeks he said that the package came back. After that, it took ages to reship the package. Then he finally gave me a tracking number, but DPD (the shipping company) never received the package (I even called DPD to confirm). I confronted him with this info, and after a week he finally shipped a package. I must say, the CPU's where carefully packed, so I don't now why he act like this. Also it was shipped from Zixtel.
In the beginning he was very quick with sending and messaging, I remember he even build a closet to store the CPU's we bought, so I don't know what happening inside his head. Perhaps he can't handle stress situations, but then again, he had more then a year to ship the items.
So you should really bother him every day, multiple times on live chat and via mail, it took me months, but it worked for me in the end. And save the conversations, could be handy if you decided to complain with the police etc. |

Usually I would agree with you 'Mearas' and I would never post anyone's private contact information here. But now this has all gone on for far too long and Adam owes people the items that they purchased from him in good faith or he owes them a full refund of all of their money.
I waited for a long time before I posted his contact information, but after all of this time still owing people either their items or a refund, Adam does not deserve keeping his information private any longer. That is why I finally posted it after all of this time and I stand by that decision. _________________ "The error of youth is to believe that intelligence is a substitute for experience,

It doesn't matter! If someone needs these information, he can send you a pm. No need to share his life without asking him!
Marcin, maybe you (or someone else) should edit his posts?! |

| That contact info is publicity available on the zixtel site, I don't see any personal contact info. |

@pixelmanca
I fully agree with you but there are some forum standards what I would like to keep even if we have serious problem with Adam.
@Mearas
First name, masked business email and phone number are fully public informations which are insensitive. Some people still waiting for their hard worked moneyback or purchased items and need other way to contact with Adam as he ingores PMs.
BTW. It is easy to find his/her home and business adress in search engine and Google doesn't have a problem with it. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I received One package from AVICC today.
Two items from adamajer are missing from the package, I just remember that adamajer didn't ship it .
What's the matter now? Adamajer's package still hasn't been sent out? _________________ My CPU collection: www.T-CPU.com |
