While most of us are sheltering in place during the coronavirus pandemic, I thought it might be a good time to see what variations there are of National Semiconductor MCS-4 chips.
Limited to White or Purple/ Gold cap versions only.
I'll start with two of my rarest examples of the chips:
INS4004D, Large print, Old logo, 36 week 1976
INS4001-P8, Small print, 31 week 1977
Both have Gold pins. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html

Should it be made on week 33 year 1975?
Quite early 4001 if so. |

I bought 2kg of scrap for 5 euro locally, and I found a few INS4001 DNG/D with ground strap, unfortunately all are chipped, but I can't complain for the price I paid |
