Maker Communications was bought by Conexant for a massive $1 billion back in 1999
Conexant spun them back off in 2003 as Mindspeed Technologies
The MXT3010 Cel Processor was based on a SWAN RISC Processor. In this version it runs at 100MHz
The SWAN RISC Core is a 4-stage network optimized processor which combines the pipelined architecture of a RISC processor with the CISC like instruction set of a specialized communications processor.
It has a 16-bit ALU but 32-bit instructions
They are fab'd by IBM
They are New Old Stock
