Hi,
I have a laptop Asus K70IO with Windows 10 64bit.
I would like to expand the RAM with 2 sticks of 4gb DDR2 6400s (this makes a total of 8Gb).
Considering the laptop has got a cpu T9900, will the laptop read/support 8Gb?
Or there will be a hardware incompatibility (for example a limitation due to the presence on the motherboard of a mch --> memory control hub or due to the Bios etc).
Thank you |

You should be able to support 8GB just fine. Most Core 2's are totally fine with 8GB. (I'm running 8GB on an XPS M1730)
It may depend on your chipset though. _________________ My collection |
