Dang, thats no cache controler. I'm a beliver. You do certainly have the rarest pentium in known existance and with unusual text to add to its already unusualness You want to trade scrapyards. The one I frequent seems to only have Itaniums. Although I did come by a NEC engineering sample risc processor the other day.
By the way, I'm just messing with you nikko, we all take our best shots and somebody has to win. I just hoped if I lost it wouldn't have been by so little. Makes me feel bad since I almost bid $350.01. Anyhow my wife is very happy with me for being a looser. |

Yes. I think next time I'll soak it in acetone and see if it'll come off easier. |

Thats how I found my early Pentium... hidden under just a plain black heatsink. _________________ 4000+ chips.

I found another one with the same heatsink but no printing on the bottom. Just something faintly written with a marker. I hope by soaking it I can get the heatsink off. |

DOOOOOOOONT SOAK IT
Try powering it up first if you must!
I heat mine in the oven, and it removes the heatsink quite cleanly. _________________ 4000+ chips.

Ahhh... to you too
I just went through my junk and put together a running system....
Installed the CPU, set the freq for 60 Mhz.
It's cooking now.
Thanks for the inspiration |
