These are some pretty uncommon and short lived devices.
The EPB2001JC is a direct interface chip to make PS/2 peripherals work on the then new MCA bus
They contain programmable registers, a programmable crosspoint switch matrix, programmable chip select logic/latches, and all logic needed to make the MCA bus work.
Being this was 1989, they are UV-EPROM based, and packaged in a gold CLCC84 package
