A friend of mine obtained some brand new QDD2’s and is wondering what boards can boot them. I think they’re very early Haswell EP chips and the retail X99 or C602 boards cannot boot them. If there is a way to boot them or any BIOS mods possible, let me know, thx!!

Haswell A0 - 2 GHz - 8C/16T - 20M L3

Almost impossible to boot on a retail motherboard. You need an early development motherboard.

I have an qdd1,qdd2,qdd3,qdcs,qdbd I tried running them on motherboards: Asus x99-a, supermicro x10sra, mw50-sv0,plexHD ddr3, Asus Z9PE-D8 WS.
I get post code memory error, or I don't get post codes at all.
They need a special bios, I think

Probably. Given the memory codes, it may be that these might not work well with DDR4. I think there were some very early boards that supported low-power DDR3 modules.
