I have a asus P8 Z77-v LX MB with a i5-2320 3ghz 4 core .... *gig ram, geforce gt-1030 windows 7
I was wondering what is the best/fastest CPU i can run in this machine.

If you wanted the fastest CPU without overclocking capabilities, the Xeon E3-1290V2 would be your best bet.
Core i7-3770K would be cheaper though and offer multiplier overclocking.
