| Recently upgraded OS from 98SEII to XP, now computer does not auto turn off once Windows has shut down, as it did in Win98. Can anyone assist? |

It seems that this problem can be caused by many different things. Here are a few suggestions to try:
- If you have "Wake-on-LAN" set in BIOS try to turn it off.
- Set the following key in registry to 1: HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\PowerOffActive
- Enable Advanced Power Management Support. You can find it in Control panel -> Power Options -> APM tab.
- Easy CD creator can cause it. If you have it installed look at their site - maybe they have a patch that fixes it.
