Here are some early BMP manipulation chips designed by Cary D. Kornfeld while he worked at the famous Xerox PARC from 1981-1984
He then moved to Bell Labs (Western ELectric) where he continued such work

These chips apparently serve one purpose, rotating/manipulating BMPs, and are prototypes.

Each is labeled MPC32A ROtator Chip, with various testing info

SOLD A Uncut leads (still in the lead frame $25
SOLD B Uncut leads (still in the lead frame $25
SOLD C MPC32A white label $25
SOLD D MPC32A white label $25

SOLD Palo Alto Chip box $10
