Theme song of this sale
Crazy how these things are only ~3ish years old and yet here they are. I guess with POWER10 just around the corner, these aren't as good anymore? TBH I'm not sure.
I don't know if these are LaGrange or Monza cores.
The core count and clock speeds also seem to be an enigma, but they tend to be pretty impressive on these larger chips with up to 22 cores (with up to 8-WAY SMT so that's 176 threads ) running at up to around 4GHz.
8x IBM POWER9 02CY136 $16 each or $30/pair

- 1x svmlegacy $16
- 1x sebskyman in exchange for 02CY138
- 2x coldwove $30
- 2x henriok $30
1x Intel Confidential QJYX ES (Pentium D 950) $12 SOLD svmlegacy _________________ My collection

I would like to add, as a completely crazy/dumb/but also kinda fun idea. These CPUs are almost perfectly sized to make neat coasters. Might need slightly smaller glasses at the base though.
They are already pretty heavy so they can at least make good paperweights! _________________ My collection |

Not sure how to go about this. I do have a spare chip with some damaged corners that I wouldn't feel too bad about de-lidding.
Does anyone know if these are soldered to the IHS? _________________ My collection |

aberco, isa-d, Birdman. They must know something about it. I think there is a sealant and thermal paste or solder. _________________ Wanted: 4 x VT-25-A tubes |

I'll do some asking around.
I've de-lidded LGA1366 chips (which are soldered) by using a table vise very carefully. I may end up going that route unless anyone has any better ideas. _________________ My collection |

Alrighty I can do the same pricing as CPUShack's sale ($16 each or two for $30) or open to trades/offers as always.
Note that these are 02CY136 and CPUShack's are 02CY138
I guess it's just too much POWER for this forum? _________________ My collection
