I recently got an Intel QPHV (Core 2 Extreme X6800 QS, B1 stepping) with batch number C621A787 (21th week 2006), when i tried on a motherboard (ASUS P5B SE) it was reporting as "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU E6800 @ 2.93GHz", i've been told that QPHV usually reports as X6800, so i wondered what is happening in that one or was some attempt/experiment intel was doing at the time or could be my board misreporting it, may test other boards to see what it reports
