Looking into getting a TUSL-2 C in my stash, but ..
Will it run Mendocinos? Asus' CPU support only mentions Coppermines and up, but is that just because no one in their right mind would've run Mendocinos on it back in the day? I can't seem to see what voltages are supported.
The manual for CUSL-2 C doesn't mention anything but Coppermines, but Asus' CPU support specifies Mendocino as well.
What's real? |

Tualatin cappable motherboards won't run Mendocinos, socket 370 FC-PGA 2 dropped mendocino support in favor for Tualatin support, you are better looking up for a Coppermine cappable board |

TUSL-2 C and CUSI-2 C both support Coppermine. Difference being that TUSL-2 C supports Tualatin and CUSI-2 C supports Mendocino _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

You would be better off with a CUSL2-C and Lin-Lin adapter. You can run anything on that. |

Actually, I do have a CUSL2-C (was my dad's daily driver with an 800EB back in the day). But somehow TUSL2-C's seem a little less unobtanium than the Lin-Lin's
That set aside, what kind of BIOS would it require for a CUSL2-C to run Tualatin(-S) chips? |

According to this article:
https://www.anandtech.com/show/806/2
| Quote: | | The biggest detraction from the TUSL2-C is the lack of voltage adjustment support with Tualatin CPU's, although it is available when using a Coppermine or Mendocino CPU. |
That looks like it actually would support Mendocinos, but I'd really like a confirmation from a fellow collector
Anybody, who owns one, who would look in BIOS and see, what options are available for the CPU Voltage? |

No, it's not a contradiction as CUSL-C runs both Mendocino and Coppermine _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Will take a look at that, when I have dug out the CUSL
Thanks.
Will the CUSL BIOS support Tualatins - with the right adapter for AGTL+? |
