CPU WORLD RECORD HOLDERS
8086 Records
Let's start the competition for Intel 8088s!

There will be two separate categories, for the D8088 and P8088. In all of them, there will be the subcategories Sample/non-sample. For the D8088s, there will also be the Pre FPO/FPO distinction, but they will share the ranking. We will not distinguish the variants with prefixes or suffixes (MD8088 or D8088-2 for example).
The CPU should be early enough to be in the list. Pictures of both sides are required.

Updated 2020-11-24
In case of tie(s) at rank n, the next one is ranked n + 1.
An user may appear multiple times in the ranking.

I think that it is not easy to distinguish 1979 & 1989.

I have a D8088-2 L9371254 => 37/1979 or 37/1989...?

Intel didn't start using the FPO format (rather then lot #s) until after 1981 or so (nor markings on the back like yours till post 81 or so as well)

Very nice Very Happy !
Pre FPO D8088s must be pretty rare as nobody else submitted any... So I added the Pre FPO/FPO distinction as it is also interesting to see who has the oldest with FPO!
So people who saw the topic earlier, look again if you have some D8088s from 1983 or earlier!

I am also curious if there are Es from 1978...

LD8088
L3193267

INTEL 1978

This one looks strange with its 1978 copyright and its skinny letters, It looks like it was remarked.
Or perhaps its date code is actually 9319...
