Hi,
I just stumbled on to this tester tonight and it looks like it's been in the making since 2018.
Are these going to be for sale? If so, when do you think?

I'm now working on production tuning to get the UCA manufactured in the upcoming weeks.
I finally get rid of the original Mojo board to design my own UCA FPGA board that perfectly fit all the needs for future adapters (with also many enhancements).
I've just ordered 5 pcs of the (almost) final assembled FPGA board and I took a week off (next week) to finalize everything.
Expected price will be 99€ for the UCA itself (base FPGA board + Interface board) and from 29€ (DIP40/186/286) to 69€ per adapter (386/486) for orders here or on vogons. Ebay prices will be €149 for a complete pack with DIP40 Adapter or €199 with a 486 Adapter.
Adapters prices will sometimes vary with the Socket quality.
Ie : the DIP40 adapter will cost 29€ with a Chinese clone Socket but 49€ with a genuine 3M/AMP Socket.
I'll also be happy to sell the 486 Adapter for half the price if you can source and solder the Socket yourself. PGA169 ZIF Socket are costly and take a long time to solder.
PS : Everyone who bought an UCA v1 will get a free DIP40 Adapter and a significant discount if they bought the new UCA. _________________ ES-Only Collector : http://www.engineering-sample.com

That seems to be a very fair pricing!
I am especially very positive about your flexibility about being willing to sell the adapters without socket. (I know it save you a lot of work, but still a nice option).
Thumbs up! |

Hi,
Last message said that these were coming shortly? Been a year or so - can I buy this yet?
Thanks

| Yeah, unfortunately, that's the global electronics supply situation for a lot of components. I'm working in the electronics industry as an engineer, and you'll be chocked if you knew how much time I spend supporting procurement department in approving replacement components. |
