Hey,
As a reaction to CPUShack's recent sale, I found out that the SECC2 versions of Pentium II are made in both a PLGA and an OLGA processor die. Which versions are made in both? As I can see, 350 and 400. But what about 450, or is that OLGA-only?
And how 'bout the SECC - are they different as well? |

Thanks, that gave the answer. 450 only in OLGA, but still not sure whether or not the SECC1's have variations as to of the CPU die enclosure? |

These days i tripped over the same question and found this thread.
I was a bit curious about how a P2 SECC looks inside and opened a SL2U7.
Seems to be OLGA
Note: Dont do that at home - the case of my SL2U7 now has some screwdriver marks. SECC ist not made to be opened. One of the 4 clips is vey tight, you need a lot force to open te case. _________________ i440BX

Yeah.
You need to rape those "click" things left and right. The PCB cant absorb that much forces you need to open. _________________ i440BX
