Thanks to Mixeur's Tyan S8010 group buy last year, I am currently testing my Socket C32 Opterons.

When testing my 4133, I was unable to get the HT Link going above 200 MHz. I tried to manually change HT Link frequency in the BIOS, no changes.
The same thing occurs with my 4105

You can see below a CPU-Z screenshot I uploaded recently.

I didn't find any solution yet...

Has the BIOS been updated to the latest release? https://www.tyan.com/Motherboards=S8010=S8010WGM2NR=downloads=EN

Does your BIOS have a setting for the HyperTransport link's multiplier?

I have the latest BIOS (v1.03).

Unfortunately, there are no HT Link multiplier settings in the BIOS...

Issue is only with those 2 cpus ? All others were working fine ?

I've just tested a 4122, HT Link is still at 200 MHz (confirmed by HWInfo64 too). Sad

Tomorrow, I'll try with Valencia and Seoul Opterons. I'll see if it's the same.

None at all? Does [Advanced > Hyper Transport Configuration] show anything useful?

Also, you could try disabling any power-saving modes for HT. It's in [Chipset > RD890 > Hyper Transport Configuration]. There should be three options in that menu: HT3 Link Power State and HT Link Tristate. If they're on Auto, set them to LS0 and Disabled respectively.

OK! I'll try that.

Thanks.

Too bad. And I just found out that it was not only affecting all my C32 Opterons, but also most, but not all, the G34 ones...
AM2 ones are OK.

I experienced the same problem with my Socket G34 Opteron.

The Magny-Cours 61xx are OK. Interlagos (62xx) and Abu Dhabi (63xx) are locked to a 200 MHz HTLink.

Same for me. All 61xx OK, and none of the 62xx, 63xx nor none of the C32s (41xx, 42xx & 43xx) have correct HT link.
