Hi,

I bought an item from a german seller on eBay, who doesn't have PayPal (silly me didn't check). Is there someone in Germany, who would be willing to take payment from me on PayPal and transfer to seller's account?

Thanks!

You can transfer money very cheaply using Transferwise between most countries. Another site I like for very low cost transfers and good exchange rates is xe.com

It's SEPA transfer, any UE resident is fine to pay via bankwire.
Denmark is this area, should be fine unless the seller wants a german to pay.

Thanks, I'm awaiting payment info from seller. If I can do a SEPA transfer from my own bank without big fees, I'll probably just do that. Previously that has cost like 30€ or so to transfer across countries. I'd like to avoid that Laughing

I thought that EU the decree requires banks not to charge for SEPA transfers or to do it for minimum. When your bank asks 30 EUR for it so it is a steal and I would change it Laughing

Yeah, it's like 15 years since I've tried that Laughing and my bank didn't charge anything for the SEPA transfer, so all was good Smile

It was my input alone.
Now you owe me your soul!

Yes, I can't wait to play Diablo IV.

Even Debs can still make or receive bankwires as after Brexit they still are in the SEPA circuit.
