The following cpus support DDR3 ECC REG memory (800-1866mhz, OC 2133mhz) and DDR4 ecc reg 1866?-2133
Xeon E5-2629v3 (8C/16T)
Xeon E5-2649v3 (10C/20T)
Xeon E5-2669v3 (12C/24T) (tested ddr3 1866)
Xeon E5-2673v3 (12C/24T) (tested ddr3 1866)
Xeon E5-2676v3 (12C/24T) (not 100% sure)
Xeon E5-2678v3 (12C/24T) (tested ddr3 1866, the most common ddr3 cpu on aliexpress)
Xeon E5 2683v3 (14C/28T) (not 100% sure)
Xeon E5-2696v3 (18C/36T)
Xeon E5-2686v3 (18C/36T) (tested ddr3 1866, all core hack works 3,5ghz! but the 120w tdp limit kicks in on heavy loads same spec code as 2699v3 but less tdp)
All of the cpu-s are released and not in ES state. (all have the final 6F2h stepping) But it can be QS.
For some reason not all cpus on the intel website. Maybe there are only for chinese market?
I tested quad rank memory, two per channel works. The ddr3 1866 quad bandwidth is like ddr4 quad 2133mhz but it has higher latency.

QF17 ES and the Xeon AWS-1000 both have DDR3 support. The former is DDR3 only. _________________ My WTB List

| E5-2686v4 and E5-2696v4 also support DDR3 (according to Taobao seller). I have also seen screenshot with 2696v4 and DDR3. |

Do you have the screenshot on you? DDR3 on Broadwell is very interesting, I haven't seen that before. _________________ My WTB List

Good find!
Broadwell-EX officially supports DDR3 (as all desktop and mobile broadwells as well), so why not. |
