11 months ago I sold CPU World user 'princess', real name Claudia Samp, who lives in Germany, 2x valuable and rare IBM TCM / MCMs.

She paid me for 1x of them a month after receiving them and then for months she just kept giving me excuses of why she hadn't paid me the remainder of the money that she owed me.

Then about 5 months ago she just stopped responding to my emails and now for the last 2 months I haven't even been able to send any emails to her, because any email that I send to the email address that she used for many years gets returned immediately with the message of:

"The email is undeliverable because the account doesn't exist."

I have noticed that she hasn't posted on here for about 6 months and messages that I've sent to her through the PM system on here are still marked as un-read.

I've spoken with 2 other people who either sold her things and then never got paid for them or who she ordered things from and then she stopped responding to them when they tried to complete the sale with her.

If anyone has heard from her since November of last year please let me know and if anyone knows of any other way to get in touch with her, besides her now defunct email address of cpu-princess@freenet.de, please let me know that as well. Thank you.

https://www.c-c-g.de/sammeln/115-warnung

Quote:

We are forced to warn in reaction of our actual experience:

Mr. Christian Samp and Mrs. Claudia Samp (may also call herself Wesning as surname) from GERMANY: City= Gronau/NRW, Street-Adress=Albrechtstraße 126, (ebay-user-ID probably “derreichmacher” or "40senso")

have lent out from us and a known other collector museal computing pieces and never gave back. This occured under abstruse fabricated facts: of alleged exhibition projects, which supposedly would be equipped by this couple. (This is approved by other witnesses.) Obviously they are incurable sick of desire, collecting all computer parts and stuffing them into their house at home. (Regarding investigations have substantiated this statement.) Unfortunately they use this perfidious act to procure their items. A prosecution is not possible, because they claim, that the loan is lost respectively not ever retrievable.

Actually (July 2012) we are confidentially reported a new case of fraudal attempt to an ebay purchase from a collector. From Mrs. Samp he was asked to send a "spare"-item for an alleged defectly delivered computer-part, but she repudiated the previous resending of the defect part. Even a change over secure account was rejected.

Do not give parts as a loan to persons, who do not credibly inform you about the use of them (approvable!). In case of fraude you have no chance to force the return.

Thanks for the information i440bx... the address that is listed in that warning report on her is the same address that I shipped the MCMs to, so obviously they live there.

It's strange because she was a long time collector on here and as far as a I know until recently she had a good reputation on here and fulfilled her obligations.

Now that I know more about her I'm kind of amazed that she actually paid me almost half of what she owed me and didn't just rip me off for the full amount.

A shame that you can't trust anyone any longer, even long term CPU World users with good reputations. Ever since this happened to me I've only shipped things after I get paid and I sure wish I would have done that with Claudia Samp.

She's just lucky that I don't live in Germany, or else I'd be paying a visit to her house and she'd pay me what she owed me for sure...

Thanks for the offer i440bx, but I wouldn't want to involve you in my dealings with her, it's not worth it.

She owes me $500 and 2x Amdahl / Fujitsu M-1800 MCMs that are actually worth a good deal more than the $500 cash that she owes me.

But most likely she would just slam the door in your face, after you explained why you were there and you would have just wasted a 6 hour round trip.

By my sales, several buyers also disappeared, some of them paid, some not. I think all of them have their own reasons for gone out, we just have to wait. For example, as with Neon_WA, one day I transferred money to him and the next day he was lost in bush.

princess
magictom
