I hope you are finally enjoying retirement & time with family by now John lol
You are living in a area I wished to visit, but unfortunately all that is happening in the world won't be back any type of normal enough in the time I have. _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Hi Stu,
Nice to read you again.
I'm sad for what happened and what is hapenning to you and hope you'll stay with us as long as possible, with the less pain possible.
Even if your collection was stolen/destroyed, it will still virtually exist on x86-guide.net (changed from .com to .net over the past years) as long as I will live. Or be willing to pay for hosting it (who knows ? I may get rid one day of cpu collecting). _________________ Register on x86-guide.net to manage and share your collection on-line !
Need to find a x86 ? Go to http://www.x86-guide.net ! Over 12000 chips listed ! |

Thanks mate. Unfortunately about 2500 of my collection I had not gotten around to photographing & uploading to the site especially as about 600 of them were samples.
Yes life sometimes takes us places we make changes we never thought would happen.
Hope life is finding some normality for you & the family _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

Stuart!! I am So Glad to learn you are still alive and kicking!
I saw the posts back in 2018 and thought the opposite.
I was going to write you back then, to thank-you for the support and info you had provided to me when I had first started collecting.
But also I had wanted to tell you about how that evolved for me... my collection got large and I wanted to share it with the public, and I fell upon exhibiting at the Maker Faires here in the SF Bay Area.
I had booths at both the big 2-day fair in Silicon Valley, and also at some Mini-Maker Faires [format leased to school districts and bookstores] in my own town.
I'm not sure my photos of those booths are small enough to post here, but I will try.
And in the meantime I just wanted to say how relieved I am to know you are still on the planet -- as you were very nice to me, and I appreciated that.

those are from a Mini-Maker Faire

I have a passion for probe boards!
and they pull a lot of kids (and adults) to my booths |
