WOW! Looks like some of you have been finding some nice chips!

I'm still hooked on World of Warcrack. I plan of taking some time this fall
to update my guide with some new package varieties that have shown up since I burned the 2006 edition.

As usual, if you come across any new package varieties, shoot me an email with a scan and i'll get it in the next edition.

Later,

George

The 2007 edition will be available around the 1st of the year.

Preview copies will be probably go out to most of the big collectors in a few months.

Many new chips have surfaced the last year that I had about given up on ever seeing. Chips like a 1311 ROM (character generator), 1403 shift register, 3301 ROM, etc. and many new package varieties of known chips.

When the guide was 1st released in 2005, it contained 767 photos and and values for 1900+ part number, copyright and package variations.

It's looking like the 2007 edition will contain over 1000 photos and values on over 2000 part number, copyright and package variations.

The guide will be available on amazon.com for the 1st time this year.

This will probably be the last yearly release. After this year I will start putting out a new edition every 2-3 years instead of every year.

Very nice, I'll be sure to look at all my EPROM's once I get a preview, just in case I find something you dont have
