Here is a very nice HP C1818-2500 CPU dated 12-81
The C1818-2500 was a 16-bit processor HP used from 1975-1980 or so that was based on the famous Hybrid NMOS 16-bit processor.
The C1818-2500 retains only the BPC (Binary Processor Chip) die (omitting the EMC and IOC dies)
It was the brains of several HP peripherals such as the
9871A daisy-wheel impact printer
9872 series plotters
9874A digitizer
9875A Dual Cassette Drive
HP C1818-2500 $85 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
